One Crazy week

So on Sunday, November 9 Jake started feeling symptoms of the flu. He was nauseous and his stomach hurt really bad. So on Monday he still wasnt doing good so I made him a doctors appt. at 3:50. A couple hours before he kept saying "maybe I wont go to the dr I dont feel that sick anymore". But we both had the feeling that we should go and we didnt know why. When we got to the dr he kept pushing on the right side of Jake's stomach and I thought Jake was going to kick the dr across the room! He was in so much pain when he would do that and he just kept doing it. Then the dr said he wanted Jake to have a blood test. It came back good, the dr still didnt have a good feeling so he sent us over to the Payson hospital to have a CT scan! By this time it was about six. Jake went in to have his CT scan and I sat in the waiting room shaking! I was so nervous. Finally after he was in the room for more then half hour he came out and he had a rag on his arm I asked him what happened. I guess when they were doing the CT scan they have to put this dye stuff in intervainiously. All of a sudden Jakes arm started hurting really bad so he told the lady(he was very calm by the way) she couldnt believe he didnt scream. His vain got a hole in it and the liquid settled in his arm, its very painful! He had been stuck four or five times during the CT. We waited in the waiting room for about a hour. Thats when the nurse came and told us we needed to come with her. We both thought "oh crap here it comes". She then told us he had appendisids and he was getting his appendix out that night! We went back to the emergency room got him all checked in then we waited what seemed like forever! His family came which im very glad cause they helped lighten the mood! I just wanted to cry cause of everything that was going on. At about 8:40 pm the doctors and nurses came and got him for surgery. We waited in the waiting room for a hour then the surgen came and told us everything went well and we could see him in a hour. So it was aound 10:30 when we went to his room. He was in so much pain I felt bad there wasnt anything I could do. He had three cuts on his stomach. Im so grateful that we had our families so close by because Braxton was with my family. The whole time in the hospital i kept thinking how nuts it would have been with Braxton there with us!! My mom brought him to the hospital and he looked at Jake and he had this look on his face like what happened to daddy. Jake got releasted from the hospital Tuesday evening he had had enough! Everyday he seems to be feeling a ltttle better which im so glad. Braxton cant quite understand why his daddy wont cuddle with him or hold him. He is such a good helper when Jake needs something!!!
